Great work Sameer! on ROund 2 Thumbs Up

Nawaz Bhai I got some ideas  Yahoo which I think would make this 12-12 more interesting.

1. I believe it should be a competition for Individual than Teams. `cos the second round sameer did an excellent job compared to Mickey or me. but all are rewarded equally. So in the long run It will demotivate everyone.

2. You should have 50 question all together, ie 10 question a week for 5 weeks. (Each question equals to one over) so 50 overs and each player will get 10 wickets only throughout the competition.
Example
23/1  Round 1   Total score 23/1
34/3  Round 2   Total score 57/4
18/5  Round 3   Total score 75/9
43/1  Round 4   Total score 118/all out (Say 10th wicket falls at Q7 R4, he is not entitled to points for Q8 onwards and he cant play R5 as well.)

Just a thought, We`ll wait for others view. May be you can do this for season 2.

Macnaw its good idea but that puts burden on the whole team. All we can do is that have vote among the teams and that shouldn't be disclosed that who is working the most according to you in your team and send them to Nawaz or while we send the answers put name of the person who told the the answer Ex. 1) Yes (Nawaz)

Parry thanks for the suggestion, The problem I feel about that is that some easy questions all of us will know the answer so there will be a problem to put who`s name?

Macnaw its good idea but that puts burden on the whole team.

I did not get this burden on the team means? I suggested that each one for himself and no team, So everyone should send their own answers...

person who sends answer to the team captain his name goes and i am saying is that instead of person answering individually its better in teams because its hard for everyone to know all the answers and with team it gets much easier.

Parry you r right its hard for one to answer all, but it will tough for everyone. So there will not be a issue i guess

and as to the second part I think for example i am the captain and you send me the answer but if I had known the answer already whose name am i to put?

well i tell you what, if anyone deserves to be praised for this wonderful effort of team ASIA it has to be rezan. He has done the most work in both the rounds and has done a wonderful job. i and mickey have done our bit, and overall it's a great team effort and congratulations to our team on this good performance.  Thumbs Up  Yahoo  Dance1

individual game won't be a bad idea either. it'll mean more competition, we have not seen any participation from CANADA A so far and that's dissapointing. i don't have any problems with either of the format. lets go with what the majority says for season 2.

TEAM ASIA  Hooray

I'm very sorry for not participating in this competition. I'm actually quite busy on the weekend. I volunteer for 8 hours on sundays and sometimes go to the Rec Centre for 3-4 hours on Saturdays. And then plus the homework.

I believe that the team format is much better. It promotes team spirit and we will get to know other people well. Team format also shows that we have 13 people [well 9 actually lol] playing this competition. If this was to be an individual competition, we would 'see' 2-3 people maximum playing this competition. I would say that we stick with team format.

Just a suggestion, that 3 people on a team might want to split up the questions amongst themselves or even share the prize money according to the number of questions answered.

I would like to congratulate Nawaz for running such a big and complex competition. It takes a lot of hard work and time on your part. [Nawaz, look under your name/avatar Cheesy]

Thanks Panesar for promoting me to the ELITE group.........yuhooooo.......
But I'll b more happier to c Canada-A paricipating in this competition to keep up the spirit!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even I like the idea of having this competition in teams if every team participates   ..........which will definately bring all the members together and get to know other members as well..........But lets   decide this after this season.

Right now its becoming more interesting...since Canada-B managed to get to the 2nd Position in Round2 which places them in good position to beat any other team for 2nd position for the final round....

There will b a tie if CANADA-B manages to get the 1st Position, USA 2nd and ASIA 3rd.....which is quite impossible for ASIA to get 3rd position in Round3.......
Put ur fingers X.........

ROUND-3 wll begin @ 6:00 p.m. ecric time!!!!!!!!

Baggtara...I told that earlier...I'll start a new thread in next season...and it wll not really grow big since we are not using this thread for answers and all the questions r alwayz on first page, so I think it should not matter!!!

ROUND-3 wll begin @ 6:00 p.m. ecric time!!!!!!!!
